Son of Luigi Nigro and Anna Maria Gesualdi

I am trying to find out information on the heritage of my husband's family; His grandfather Dominick Calitri came to the US approximately 1900 married Josephine Sica and lived in Queens New York until his death in 1964.. He had a 3 brothers who settled in the New England area. I would appreciate any information

I visited Panni in october 2011. My father is from this town. He left in 1950 at the age of 22. I saw his home and visited my grandmothers grave. My great grandparents were maria calitri and carlo gesualdi. Some but not all of there children were antonio, mario, luigi, rocco, filomena, and maybe maria. Does anyone know of this family? I am very interested in knowing Carlo gesualdi and maria calitri's parents.Please let me know if any of this if familiar.

Hello, I just started to inquire about my family heritage and in my search thus far I found that my great grandfather Costanzo Montecalvo also came from Panni. I believe he came here in 1914 or there abouts thru Ellis Island while my great grandmother Celestina Russo came thru from Boston. They eventually married and had 3 boys and 1 girl:

Saverio (my grandfather)
Antonio
Angelo
Michelina (became a Rao)

Costanzo had 3 brothers and 1 sister:

Antonio
Angelo
Joseph (lived in Canada)
Carmella (stayed in Italy, passed but never married)

I unfortunately do not have any more information than that I have been interested in trying to trace back to my great great grandparents who remained in Italy but I do not know their names. I would love to go back even further to see where the Montecalvo's originated from, family crest, etc.

If anyone has any information that can help me I would very much appreciate it.

My grandfather, Saverio Besachio, was a member of the Pannese Society when he died in Sept. of 1955. Do you have any records from that time frame?

I am trying to get in touch with Gerald Deluca. I am a local Montreal filmmaker making a documentary about a Montreal Theater which is now abandoned. I have found an old photo taken by Mr. Deluca back in the 80's and would like to ask permission to use it in the film as archival footage.
This here is the only way I have found to get anywhere close to talking to him.

We are planning a trip to Panni in May of 2011. Our family name is Calitri. My grandfather's name was Pietro. He moved to the US in about 1906. His older brother Vito remained in Italy. If anyone has any info please contact me.
